Starting in the spring, a pair of ospreys come to hunt for food on Beaver Dam Creek every day between 3 and 5 pm. Their nest was atop the water tower in Pt. Pleasant but it was knocked down when the tower was painted. The birds did not rebuild on that spot; I do not know where the new nest is. It must be close as they still look for food in the same places.
